  • Contract support, including preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts for services, purchase of equipment and vehicles, employees, and more.
  • Employment law support, including human resources consultation, harassment & discrimination prevention, and other related issues.
  • Corporation issues, such as constitution and bylaws drafting and revision, annual reports and good standing, and 501 status and 990 compliance.
  • Review and revision of policies and procedures for legal compliance, risk management, and operational accuracy.
  • Providing regular compliance training in topics such as HIPAA, Medicare compliance, human resources issues, and medical documentation.
  • Crisis management, including initial response, internal messaging, public relations, dispute resolution, and preventing reoccurrence.
  • General legal services, including official correspondence, responding to other attorneys, advise regarding document demands and subpoenas, and related issues.
  • Litigation support, including chart review, preparing personnel to give testimony at deposition and trial, and accompanying members as counsel when necessary.
  • Provide information regarding a host of emerging legal and other EMS issues through connections with numerous state and national organizations, and advocate on your behalf with those associations and committees.
  • PROVIDE PRIORITY LEGAL SUPPORT 24 HOURS PER DAY, WHEN POSSIBLE, THROUGH ACCESS TO THE FIRM’S PRIORITY LEGAL SUPPORT HOTLINE.
